- H.S.C. (12th) or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government
- Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both
- Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
- Possess minimum physical standards as specified in the Appendix
