Staff Selection Commission Has Decided To Postpone Examination Date for Junior Engineers & Prasar Bharati

Staff Selection Commission of India had published advertisement for recruitment of Junior Engineers, Engineer Assistant and Technicians in Prasar Bharati. Applications were received from interested candidates. It was notified that the selection for actual post will be based on performance in written test.

Earlier, the written examination date was decided for Junior Engineers and Engineer Assistant & Technicians on 19/05/2013 and 26/05/2013 respectively. The board has fixed new dates for such test.

The candidates of Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality Surveying and Contract) will have to conduct exam on 09/06/2013 & Engineering Assistant and Technician (in Prasar Bharati) will appear in exam on 21/07/2013. Gujarat Scheduled Castes Development Corporation is a Gujarat government Undertaking. The corporation has issued notification for Education Loan under the scheme “National Scheduled Castes Finance & Development Corporation”. Name of the scheme: ‘Education Loan Scheme of NSFDC’

Objective of the scheme: The scheme is offered to those schedule caste students who are willing to pursuing in professional/ technical education.

Covering area of loan/ Purpose of loan:

The education loan covers Admission Fees, Tuition Fees, Stationary/ Book Expenditure, Boarding and Lodging Expenses, Travelling Expenses, Caution Money, Development Fund, etc.

Eligibility criteria: Those students are eligible for education loan, who are from the Scheduled Caste Category. Annual income of student’s family should not be more than Rs.40,000/- p.a. in rural areas and Rs.50,000/- p.a. in urban areas i.e. students must be below Double the Poverty Line.

CTET July 2013 - Time Duration Increased to Complete CTET Exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had issued notice for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination on 11/02/2011 for online application with NCTE Circular notice No.76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad.

In that notice, time duration of Paper-I and Paper-II for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) -JULY 2013 was mentioned as 1.30 hours. Candidates may read previous notice and information bulletin on CTET website.

The committee has further issued notice in the NCTE vide letter No.F.76-1/2011/NCTE/Acad to increase time limit for TET Examination from 1.30 hours to 2.30 hours for both the papers, Paper-I & Paper-II. Candidates will now get extra one hour to complete the paper. The revised schedule with extended time for TET exam will be as follow.
