Gujarat Public Service Commission has issued notification for the recruitment of Assistant Commissioner of Labour Class-I. Eligible and interested candidates are invited for online application considering following details of educational qualification, age limit, experience, selection procedure, application process and other details.

Job Description:
Job Title: Assistant Commissioner of Labour, Class-I
Number of vacancies: 13 Posts
Salary: Candidates will be given salary in pay band of Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed Post Graduation Degree in the field of Social Work or Labour Welfare with minimum 2nd class or any other equivalent qualification recognized by government from recognized University/ Institute. For more detail, candidates are requested to read official notification (given under below link).
Age Limit: Age of the candidate should not more than 37 years as on 08/06/2013.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is permissible to the candidates of reserved category maximum up to 45 years (Except Gujarat Government Employees).
Dates to Remember: Last date for online application is 08/06/2013 up to 13.00 hours.
Application Fees: Applicants of unreserved category have to pay Rs.100/- (excluding postal fees) in the form of fee challan downloaded from website (given below). Reserved category candidates are exempted from application fee.
Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of performance in personal interview and/or written test.
