Rs.17240/- is a first pay grade with other admissible allowance i.e. DA, HRA, Medical and other. Said pay band of Rs.17240-840 (14)-29000-910 (4)-32640 means Rs, 17240/- is your basic pay and after probational period release your increment of Rs, 840/- and after all your last basic grade is 32640/- in present pay grade with all admissible allowances.
