The High Court of Gujarat has issued notification for the recruitment of Librarian and Assistant Librarian and invites online applications for such posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply after considering following details.

Job Description:
1) Librarian (Class-I): 1 post
Salary: Appointed candidate will be eligible to receive remuneration in the pay band of Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-
Experience: Candidate should have at least 2 (two) years experience in the Central Government or State Government or Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking or reputed Organization / Company.
2) Assistant Librarian (Class-II): 1 post
Salary: Appointed candidate will be eligible to receive remuneration in the pay band of Rs.9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,600/-
Experience: Candidate should have at least 1 (one) years experience in the Central Government or State Government or Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking or reputed Organization / Company.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed M. Lib. or Master in Library and Information Science as on 25/03/2013.
Age Limit: A Candidate’s age should not be more than 35 years as on 25/03/2013.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is permissible to the employees of Subordinate Courts or any other High Court as per the prevailing rules.
Dates to Remember: Online application shall be start from 01/04/2013 at 12.00 noon and closed on 05/04/2013 at 12.00 midnight. Main examination will be taken on 05/05/2013. Viva test (Oral Interview) will be conducted in June- 2013.
Application Fees: Candidate shall have to pay application fee Rs.500/- along with bank charges in Current Bank Account No. 30725811785 with the State Bank of India, High Court Complex Branch, Ahmedabad, held in the name of Registrar General, High Court of Gujarat, Sola, Ahmedabad by using through Core Banking Service of SBI by using the Cash Voucher given in official advertisement (given below).
