Recently SBI Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, Corporate Center, Mumbai published a notification to recruit security officers in middle management grade scale – II in State Bank Group {(Deputy Manager (Security)}.
As of SBI’s advertisement No. CRPD/SO/2012-13/03 eligible candidates are invited to apply online for the post of 61 Security Officers in Middle Management Grade Scale II. Only eligible Indian citizens allowed for registration of application form.
Total Vacancies: 61 (60 in SBI and 01 in State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur)
Age Limit as on 1st October 2012: 35 Years (Relaxation is applicable as per rules)
Fee (Non Refundable): Rs. 500/- (For SC / ST / PWD Category Rs. 50/-)
Applicant pays application fees through online or offline mode. After Online Application Registration candidates will get options to make payment through online or offline mode. If you want to pay through Credit Card / Debit card / Internet Banking, then select the Online Payment Gateway option. Otherwise take the print out of system generated Challan form after the submission of Online Application. And pay fees at any branch of SBI on 2nd working day after online application registration and within 3 working days.
SBI Security Officer Post selection will be done on the short listing and interview basis. Merit List for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of marks scored in interview.

What is Require Qualification for this Post?
- Officer with 5 years commissioned service in Army, Navy, Air Force or a Police Officer (Not allow below the rank of ASP/Dy).
- SP with 5 years’ service in that rank or officer of identical rank with 5 years’ service in Para-military services
- Officers from the fighting arms will be given preference
