It is very bad procedure to recruit the candidates for the post of lecturer / Asst. Professor. It is because how anybody can identify the eligible candidates only on the basis of marks of a candidate who obtained in BE/ME.
You can see the procedure of PGVCL, GETCO, ONGC, IOCL or any company that recruit the right candidates.
According to myself it's bad thing.
without written test, experience nobody can identify the right candidate.
