All the universities conduct the entrance test for the admission to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda had also conducts the PET Examination. As of Gujaratset Ph. D Entrance Test (PET) Notification the online application form can be submitted from 27/12/2012 to 23/01/2013 on official website http://www.gujaratset.ac.in/msupet/.

Last date for submit the documents at PET office, Vadodara: 25/01/2013, 4.00 p.m.

Exam Date: Sunday, 10/02/2013, 12:00 Noon to 02:00 p.m.

How to get admission in PhD Programme?

The candidate can get admission either directly or through M.Phil programme in The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. If you desire to get admission in these courses, then qualify Ph.D entrance test conducted by The M.S. University of Baroda.

Please Note:

• The written test shall be followed by Personality test in the form of interaction with the Personality Test Committee.
• In Personal interview, the candidates are expected to discuss their research area.
• Ph. D entrance test have 3 parts such as Part-A General Aptitude (35%); Part-B- Subject-wise (50%) and Part-C- Personality Test (15%).
• The PET exam will be conducted in the medium of English.
• The question paper shall be of Multiple Choice Questions

• Accepted application list will be placed on our official website after 10 days from the last date of submission of the application form.
• The “PET Exam 2013 Hall Ticket” has to be downloaded from official website 5 days before examination.
