NSFDC Educational Loan Scheme for SC Candidates (Anusuchit Jati)

Gujarat Scheduled Castes Development Corporation is a Gujarat government Undertaking. The corporation has issued notification for Education Loan under the scheme “National Scheduled Castes Finance & Development Corporation”. The following are details about purpose of loan, objective of loan, eligibility, maximum loan limit and rate of interest on it.

Name of the scheme: ‘Education Loan Scheme of NSFDC’

Objective of the scheme: The scheme is offered to those schedule caste students who are willing to pursuing in professional/ technical education.

Covering area of loan/ Purpose of loan:

The education loan covers Admission Fees, Tuition Fees, Stationary/ Book Expenditure, Boarding and Lodging Expenses, Travelling Expenses, Caution Money, Development Fund, etc.

Eligibility criteria: Those students are eligible for education loan, who are from the Scheduled Caste Category. Annual income of student’s family should not be more than Rs.40,000/- p.a. in rural areas and Rs.50,000/- p.a. in urban areas i.e. students must be below Double the Poverty Line.

Courses covered under the scheme: This loan scheme is provided for regular full time professional/ technical courses such as Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, Doctorate Degree, Journalism, CA, CS, CWA and many more courses in India or Abroad. More details are given in original notification (given below).

Maximum Rate of Interest and Loan Limit:

Rate of interest:
  • 2% interest will be payable per annum for NSFDC to SCA.
  • 5% interest will be payable per annum for SCA to beneficiary.

Maximum Loan Limit:
1) Study in India: Loan approved up to 7.50 lakh
2) Study in Abroad: Loan approved up to 15.00 lakh

  5. In TTA exam from syllabus I came to knew that there is three paper 1. GK and GE 2.Applied mathematics and physics and electronics [Whiuch is fixed for alls ] 3. Specialization and in third paper which ia a) Electrical b)Communication c)network,filter and transmission line d)instrument and measurement e)control system f) microprocessors g)computers
    So I want to know that i attempt all these questions or only computer's Q....?????
    I confirm about computers in Information Technology.

  10. i got a form of loan from nsdfc site stating loan limit upto 20 lacs for abroad studies and above article states its limit 10 lac
    its confusing which is correct amount
