Civil Services Old Examination Format Remains Unchanged – UPSC Format News

The government has taken decision just before ten (10) days ago to change the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) examination format totally into English and Hindi languages. But after opposition of Lok Sabha members and other political parties such as  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP),Communist Party of India (CPI), Janata Dal-United (JD(U)), Biju Janata Dal (BJD), Akali Dal, Trinamool Congress, the government came on conclusion to take examination of IAS and IPS in regional language continue.

The controversial notification of change the format of UPSC by discrimination of regional language was not supported by parliament as well as Indian public. In this change, the government has decided to convert examination format in English and Hindi language by decreasing importance of other regional languages.

But the fact is that most of the Indian people are comfortable with their regional language though Hindi is our national and English is international language. IPS and IAS officers have to work with local people as they must have enough knowledge of language of particular state. If they have not such knowledge, they cannot serve local populace.

Regarding this point, government has now pass the circulation and decided not to convert in a new format. So, candidates can give UPSC examination in comfort language (Regional languages).
